How would you describe your shooting style?

Documentary. Playful. Engaging. Your personal paparazzi, I enjoy capturing candid, photojournalistic portraits, documenting the day as it unfolds. This entails not being too intrusive with unnatural posing, but instead opting to catch more organic moments.

What equipment do you use?

Fancy cameras! I shoot with Canon Mark III and R6 camera bodies, and a variety of top of the line lenses and flash.

Do you travel?

I love to travel! If you are planning on having a destination wedding, elopement, or would like to do your engagement or portrait session at a location that is special to you, but isn’t local, let’s make it happen! I have photographed weddings, and other portrait sessions, in multiple locations across the United States. Some of my favorites include Colorado, Washington, California, and New York. I have also had the chance to photograph weddings and engagements in other countries, including Mexico, Dominican Republic and Iceland. I am passport ready and can meet you anywhere!

What is needed to book?

For weddings, a $1000 retainer, along with the signed contract, is all that is needed to secure your date. For all other sessions, feel free to shoot me a message.

What happens next, after booking?

I will be in touch periodically to keep up to date on the latest regarding your session or wedding. For weddings, a pre-consultation meeting is usually held a week before your wedding date, to solidify timeline and other important details. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to contact me directly. I can help with locations, timelines, outfits and more.

How quick is your turn around?

Turnaround time for wedding images is generally 6-8 weeks from the date of your wedding. Post-processing is never outsourced, so every single image you receive will have been hand-edited by me. For all other portrait sessions, delivery is between 3-4 weeks. Side note, if I happen to finish your images early, I will definitely get them to you ASAP. I know you are excited to see them, and can’t wait to share them with you!

How are images delivered?

For weddings, final, high-resolution images are delivered via an electronic downloadable link or via a USB. For all other sessions, images are generally delivered via an electronic downloadable link. All sessions do include a personal print release.

Do I have to order prints through you?

Not necessarily. Since you will have a Personal Use Print Release, you will be able to print your photos anywhere. However, all of the images will have special processing done with state-of-the-art computer software, and color and tonality adjustments will be specific to my equipment. These monitors are also specifically calibrated, so what I see on my monitor is exactly what gets printed at professional labs. Definitely a lot better than those 1-hour photo shops! So, if quality prints is your top priority (and I hope it is), you should definitely purchase prints from a professional color lab, like the one I use.

Do we need a wedding planner?

I’ll just say that I have never had a couple regret hiring a wedding planner or day of coordinator. However, I have had many couples regret not having one. A planner can help make the wedding planning process truly enjoyable for you and perhaps most importantly, they allow you and your family members to enjoy the day!
